Our recent work


Our aim is to establish long-lasting working relationships with destinations, businesses, and cultural organisations to develop sound insight and evidence-based advice. We have extensive knowledge and experience managing confidence monitors, consumer, business, and opinion surveys.


We are one of the leading providers of tourism modelling research using the Cambridge Model. As licence holders, we have completed hundreds of reports for destinations across England, Scotland, Wales and the Isle of Man. 


Some of our studies include a mixture of economic model-based assessments with full evaluations resulting from extensive consultation. The findings of our research are often used as an evidence base for policy documents, economic, tourism and cultural strategies, as well as to support funding bids.

We have been involved in a range of tourism modelling activities, producing reports on the volume and value of tourism at the local level, measuring the contribution of new tourism ventures to the local visitor economy, and appraising the visitor impacts of existing tourism initiatives, marketing campaigns, and events.
